The Alma Soprano ICE system combines multiple laser wavelengths and technologies to provide a comprehensive hair removal solution. Its advanced ICE™ technology continuously cools the skin during treatment, minimising the risk of burns while maintaining heat within the dermis to effectively target hair follicles. This approach ensures a comfortable experience with efficient results.
What to Expect
Alma Soprano ICE Laser Hair Removal
During your session, the Soprano ICE applicator is moved over the targeted area in a sweeping motion, gradually heating the skin to effectively damage hair follicles and prevent regrowth. The treatment is virtually painless, often described as a soothing, massage-like sensation. Sessions are quick, even for larger areas like the legs or back, and there's minimal downtime.
After the Treatment
You may experience mild redness or a warm sensation in the treated area, similar to a slight sunburn. This is completely normal and typically subsides within a few hours. It's important to avoid hot showers, intense exercise, and direct sun exposure for 24–48 hours post-treatment to prevent irritation and allow the skin to settle.
Limitations
There are no major limitations, but it's recommended to avoid tanning (natural or artificial) and any treatments that may irritate the skin (such as chemical peels) for at least a week. You can shave between sessions, but avoid waxing or plucking, as the hair follicle must remain intact for the laser to be effective.
Pricing
We offer flexible options to suit your needs, including single sessions, courses of 6 treatments, and multi-area packages—designed to help you save both time and money.
Courses and packages can be paid for monthly and are valid for up to 10 months.
Consultation & Patch Test
Before beginning any laser hair removal treatment, a consultation and patch test are required.
During this appointment, one of our advanced aesthetic practitioners will assess your skin, explain your treatment options, and answer any questions you may have.
There is a £15 consultation fee, which will be deducted from your first treatment price.

FAQ
Is the treatment suitable for all skin types?
Yes, the Soprano ICE is effective for both light and dark skin tones, as well as coarse or fine hair. Its advanced technology allows for safe treatment of a wide range of skin and hair types.
Can I have the treatment if I have tanned skin?
Absolutely. Treatments can be performed any time of the year, including on tanned skin. However, it's advisable to avoid tanning beds and excessive sun exposure for at least two weeks before and after treatment to ensure optimal results and minimise the risk of side effects.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on individual factors such as hair type, colour, and the area being treated.Typically, clients achieve optimal results after 6 to 8 sessions.
Pre/Aftercare
PRE-TREATMENT CARE
6–8 Weeks Before Treatment
Do not wax, pluck, or thread the treatment area for at least 8 weeks before your first session or between sessions. The follicle must be intact for laser to be effective.
4 Weeks Before Treatment
Avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, and self-tanning products. UV exposure increases the risk of pigmentation and sensitivity.
Do not use bleaching creams or lightening agents on the area.
1 Week Before Treatment
Avoid intense exfoliation, microdermabrasion, or chemical peels on the area to be treated.
Keep the area free from irritation and avoid using perfumed products or retinoids.
24–48 Hours Before Treatment
Shave the area to be treated 24 hours before your appointment. The skin should be smooth, but not freshly shaved on the day of treatment to avoid sensitivity.
Do not use moisturisers, lotions, perfumes, deodorants, or creams on the area on the day of treatment.
Ensure you are well-hydrated—drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment.
Additional Notes:
Avoid tight clothing over the treatment area on the day of your appointment to reduce friction and irritation.
Do not swim in chlorinated pools 24 hours before your appointment.
A patch test and consultation must be completed at least 72 hours before your first session.
AFTERCARE
Within 48 Hours Post-Treatment
Avoid all heat-related activities such as hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise.
No swimming in chlorinated pools.
Avoid applying perfumed products, deodorants, or bleaching creams to the treated area.
Redness or swelling may occur—this is normal. Do not scratch, pick, or irritate the skin.
Within 72 Hours Post-Treatment
Do not shave the treated area.
1 Week Post-Treatment
Do not exfoliate or use any harsh scrubs, retinols, or peels on the treated area.
2 Weeks Post-Treatment
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds.
Do not use self-tanning products.
Avoid waxing, plucking, or using hair removal creams in the treated area.
Limit prolonged outdoor activity that exposes the area to direct sunlight.
6 Weeks Post-Treatment
Continue using a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ on exposed areas.
Avoid tanning beds throughout your course of treatment.
Helpful Tip:
If the skin feels warm or irritated after treatment, apply a cool compress or Aloe Vera gel to soothe the area. Hot and humid conditions can intensify redness, so keep the area cool and well-ventilated.
